St. Bernadette School

The SCRIP program

reduces your tuition while at the same time raising money for the School and Church!  The SCRIP program involves purchasing gift cards for stores that you would normally shop at anyway, and then paying for things using the gift cards instead of cash.  Cards are available for all kinds of places, including grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, etc.  The percentage of profit varies between places and is noted on the order form.  Anyone can participate in this program, even if they don't have a child at the school.  Grandparents, neighbors, friends, can use SCRIP and designate that their portion of tuition credits be applied to your tuition (wouldn't that be nice!). 

That's it!  The volunteers do all the rest!  They keep track of all the purchases and send a check in your name to the School in December and May to be applied to your child's tuition.  Tuition credits can be sent to St. Bernadette School or to Boylan High School.

This year SCRIP is going to be have a Cash-n-Carry sale every Thursday after school from 2:45 pm - 4:00 pm in the School lobby.  At that time you simply pick out the certificates/cards you want, pay for them and take them with you!  Even easier than last year's program! 

Any purchases made at Office Depot can result in a 5% profit paid back to the School.  All you need to do is mention St. Bernadette School while checking out.  They take care of the rest!  Can be entered on online purchases as well!

We collect and send in used ink jet cartridges, laser cartridges, and old cell phones.  We rely on these donations to pay for the cartridges used in the many printers throughout the School.  Please send in your used cartridges and cell phones. 

You can help even MORE by having your office collect cartridges for our School.  We can supply collection boxes to you that can be used for collection and mailing.  That way you don't even have to bring them in - just have them picked up at your place of employment!

Market Day is a monthly program.  You place your order using an order form or by going online and then pick up the food at the School.  You can buy great food and help the school at the same time!  For information on Market Day or to place your order on line, go to Market Day on the Web.  There are extra deals offered on-line so click on the blue link and check it out! 

Did you know that Target pays a percentage of all charges made on a Target Visa back to any school you designate on your card?  They give us 1% of all charges made at Target and 1/2% of all charges made anywhere using your Target Visa.  What a great deal!  All you need to do is designate St. Bernadette School on your credit card.  Call 888-755-5856 or stop at the service desk in the store.

We collect box tops from many General Mills products which are then turned in for cash.  Just clip the coupons and send them to school or bring them to church!
