Academic Program
St. Bernadette's Pre-K-8 academic program is officially recognized by the State of Illinois. We Provide instruction in the traditional academic subjects (Math, Reading, Language/English, Phonics, Science, & Social Studies). In addition to these curricular areas, students are instructed in Religion, Physical Education, Music, Art, Computers, and Library.Students are tested using the IOWA Test of Basic Skills in grades 2-7. Our Students generally score at or above their grade level on these tests. The results help us measure academic growth and the effectiveness of our curriculum.Extra-Curricular Activities
St. Bernadette School offers a variety of extra curricular programs including the alter server programs, Scholastic Bowl, Band, Choir, Yearbook, Newspaper, Student Council, Patrol, Boy/Girl Scouts, and Athletics.The Athletic Program hosts Soccer (co-ed) in the fall, Boys and Girls Basketball in the winter, and Volleyball (co-ed) in the spring for students in 5th thru 8th grades. St. Bernadette School Extended Day Program provides before and after school care for St. Bernadette School students in grades K-8th. It is available full-time, part-time and on an emergency basis. If a child is not picked up by 2:55pm, they will be sent to Extended Day and the regular fees will apply.Fees:
